The Capital Confidant Approach was designed in response to a decade of conversations with high-net-worth individuals, business owners and families whom we have coached and counseled, and for whom we have planned and managed money. It is the solution to the problems they reported, to what wasn’t working in their planning experiences.
They talked about the fact that life and therefore wealth-related decision making has become more complex. As their financial wherewithal increased, life choices expanded, and making decisions in line with their goals became a moving target. In the past, they sought out a financial advisor for access to information. Now, they’re on information overload, seeking help to separate the relevant information from the noise, and to apply it or customize it to their situation.
